The Arc Middlesex County Programs


The Arc Middlesex County is proud to offer the following programs:

 

CAREER PLANNING: This is a person-centered, comprehensive employment planning and support service that provides assistance for program participants to obtain, maintain or advance in both competitive employment and self-employment.

 

COMMUNITY INCLUSION SERVICES: These services are provided outside of the participant’s home.  It provides support and assists participants in educational, enrichment, or recreational activities as outlined in the service plan.

 

DAY REHABILITATION: These include services that provide education and training to acquire the skills and experience needed to participate in the community, consistent with the individual’s service plan.

 

PRE-VOCATIONAL TRAINING: These are services that provide learning and work experiences, including volunteer work, where the individual can develop general non-job-task-specific strengths and skills.

 

RESPITE: Services provided to participants unable to care for themselves that are furnished on a short-term basis because of the absence or need for relief of those persons who normally provide care for the individual.

 

SUPPORT COORDINATION: This is a critical service to ensure individuals with disabilities and their families gain the required resources and supports within the community. Currently, we provide Support Coordination in the following counties: Gloucester, Bergen, Burlington, Essex, Mercer, Monmouth, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Union & Essex

 

TRANSPORTATION: This service is offered by the organization to enable participants to gain seamless access to services, activities, and resources, as specified by the service plan.
